Montana Robbins
Pre-Licensed Counselor Intern
Hello, my name is Montana Robbins. I am a current graduate student in the Counselor Education Program at Northwest Nazarene University. I am honored to have the opportunity to complete my internship with Ever Forward Counseling x Neurofeedback.
I see every person who enters counseling as someone worth holding space for. I believe all parts of your story matter: the experiences that have shaped you, the burdens you may carry, the strengths you hold, and the parts of yourself you may still be discovering. My role is to walk alongside you as we explore your story, make space for all of its parts, and support you in finding your way back to yourself.
Counseling can be a space to slow down, become curious about your experiences, reconnect with yourself, help heal the parts that have been hurt, and begin to discover what is possible for your life.
Throughout my master’s program, I have completed rigorous coursework in ethics, multicultural counseling, and human lifespan and development, as well as additional courses in mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and outdoor therapy. These experiences have shaped my desire to approach counseling with curiosity, compassion, and an appreciation for the many different experiences and identities that make each person unique.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time in nature, going on adventures with my dog, and getting lost in a good book.
I believe growth is possible for every person. Sometimes we simply need the right conditions: the right space, support, and care for those seeds to begin growing. My hope and mission is to create a space where you can learn, grow, and move toward a life with greater connection, meaning, and purpose.
I’m excited to learn alongside the people I have the privilege of working with. During my internship, I will receive extensive supervision to ensure I do the best job possible for my guests. This will be a shared journey; one where I have the honor of walking alongside you as you find your way back to yourself and what matters most to you.
